Speaker – Renee Sanford
Renee grew up as part of a large loving family, living on the North end of Lake Washington in Seattle. She married her high school sweetheart, David Sanford, on Sept.11, 1982. She is the proud mom of five children, (ages 5-22) three girls and two boys. In April 2004, David & Renee adopted their daughter Anna, (4 yrs.) she was an answer to prayer & 2 yrs of waiting. Anna joined their four children; Elizabeth, 22, Shawna, 19, Jonathan, 17 & Benjamin, 8. Renee & David eagerly await the arrival of their first grandchild, (a boy) in early September.
Renee & David made their home in Portland, Oregon, where she completed her degree in Biblical Education at Multnomah Bible College. David served for 20 yrs with Luis Palau Evangelistic Assoc. in the area of publishing & media ministries. Upon departing from the Association, David & Renee started their own company, Sanford Communications, working with Christian authors and publishers. David works full time from home & Renee works on special projects as time allows. Renee has ministered with women and children and missions in their home church and has a passion to see people changed by the Word of God.
In conjunction with David, Renee is the co-author of two books-The Living Faith Bible and How to Read Your Bible (coming Dec. 2005).       David and Renee are both originally from Washington state and were raised here (north of Lake Washington) and have family in the area. They both enjoy spending time with family and friends and their Christian family. They have a deep heart for missions and missionaries. Renee loves to travel, cook & eat and enjoys art and music She is looking forward to being our speaker. We are pleased she was able to join us as our speaker & share our retreat theme for the year; “The 3 G’s, Guilt, Grace and Glory.” Please come and share this time with us.
