This photo taken in Seattle at Davis Studios approximately 1910, strictly based on the age of young John Boyd, who looks to be around 15 or 16 (John was born January 1893). Alex still looks in good health at age 69. Sitting in the chair is Alex's second wife, Mary Lou- who I've just recently found in the 1910 Federal Census for Seattle, King Co. John is also listed as being with Alex and his step mother as an apprentice furrier, John enlisted in the service April of 1911 in California. |
